hey hey hey my taco head brothers and sisters
Thank you so much for visiting the website. I'm so excited to be able to share this space with so many Taco enthusiasts like myself from all around the world. I'm very fortunate to have been born and raised in Southern California, home to some of the finest Mexican food anywhere, specifically, Tacos. Growing up, my Pops took my brother and I along with our friends down to surf in Baja Mexico on a regular basis. That's where my Taco luv affair first began, on the side of the road at the little Taco stands that adorn the coastline. Pops took us to one spot in Ensenada every time called Casamar. He always paid no matter how many Tacos me and my bros ate. Boy do I miss him, but his memories will live on through my family and our website.
Throughout the years I've held many jobs within the food industry, some places were the funnest, some places were the finest. All of them allowed me a front-row seat into the culinary culture of colorful, aromatic, flavorful food that entices each and every one of us. My journey has always brought me back to my one true luv, Tacos.
The world we live in is a big, beautiful place and traveling has taught me that Tacos have been adopted by many different cultures as well as expanded upon from within its origin. I'm telling you it's a Taco revolution!! Creative new Tacos have exploded on the scene like Korean BBQ and Hawaiian Huli Huli, along with other variations of the gold standards like Carne Asada and Al Pastor and even some amazing plant-based and other vegetarian versions as well.
My vision is to provide a forum for all Taco Heads to congregate and share recipes, great locations, tips, tricks, humor and the Taco Luv. Please visit our Facebook group “Show Us Your Taco” and join in the fun. Enjoy the great pics, add when you can, ask questions, get answers and be the magnificent Taco Head that I know you are.
